On the heels of a negative experience with past web designers, earthspa came to us looking for more than just a new website; they were searching for a come comprehensive rebrand. earthspa needed a reliable, friendly, and approachable team they could count on to be there every step of the way.
We listened close to their concerns and created a look and feel that was easy to navigate from the logo and color scheme to the style and layout.
Our goal was to reflect the brand’s ethos, a deep-rooted belief in the power of natural elements. Inspired by organic shapes, we created a graphic that recalls a leaf or a drop of water. By incorporating lines, the detail evokes a sense of roots or tree branches. The logo was meant to both work as a single graphic element and come together harmoniously to create a unique logotype.
To create the logo, we used Hasterisco, a rounded sans-serif font that we took as inspiration to create the icon itself. Its rounded shapes suggest a soft playful character and echo the width of the lines in the graphic element. For the website and content, we used Lato Regular, an easy to read sans-serif font perfect for headers and small paragraphs.
To depart from the traditional use of green to depict natural products, we employed a more contemporary soft greyish blue tone evoking a sense of calm and tranquility. Working off this color and feeling, we utilized a soft scale of different blue tones across the website to emphasize a feeling of calm and purity.
